"Moxie is a street smart spirit that's as old as recorded history and as new as the rising sun. David had it; Goliath didn't. It's that intangible, tangible. You don't learn it in school and you can't get it from a book." 
     That pretty much sums it up. My designs are modern with an edge. The shine of silver against raw and faceted gemstones arranged in asymmetrical designs. No two designs are exactly the same. I have been working with jewelry for ten years. With the energy of 2012 came leather feather earrings, gemstone covered leather cuffs, owl glass tile pendants, and poppy flower headbands. Now in 2013, "The Year of Emerald" comes a "Crystal & Clay" line, ceramic pendants, and dichroic glass fusion. With the addition of a new kiln in the studio, I am expanding into PMC (precious metal clay), warm glass techniques, and clay ceramics to create components to blend into my designs. 
     The chain store culture and global manufacturing has taken away our individuality. We are encouraged to be consumers, not producers, of our own culture. Our ties to the local and human sources of our goods have been lost. Buying handmade helps us reconnect. The accumulating environmental effects of mass production are a major cause of global warming and the poisoning of our air, water and soil. Every item you make or purchase from a small-scale independent artist or crafter strikes a small blow to the forces of mass production.
     Each design is made with a different energy, inspiration, and intention. A part of me goes into each one.  I hope you enjoy them!
